The
energy jet system is
a new concept in air replacement and ventilation systems.
It offers more efficiency and comfort than conventional systems.
The
Energy-Jet consists of a specially designed air-mixing unit complete with motor
operated dampers and discharge temperature control.
A specifically designed length of unique flame retardant fabric duct attached
to the discharge of the unit provides the air distribution system. The fabric air duct has precision Jet openings, designed for
each application.
Existing
direct fired make-up air systems can be modified using the Energy Jet duct
system realizing thirty to forty percent (30% - 40%) cost savings and increased
comfort levels.
When
the Energy-Jet unit is started, the motorized outside air damper will open and
modulate with the inside air dampers to maintain constant air volume and
discharge temperature.
The
air is discharged as close to the roof as possible.
The high velocity air being discharged through the small openings in a
Jet-like pattern will create a turbulent mixing with the warm building air at
the ceiling. The result of the
mixing is that the fresh air is heated to room temperature very quickly
before it reaches the lower occupied area.
The number and size of the units will depend on the amount of air being
exhausted.
When
no fresh air is needed, the system can be shut down and the outside air dampers
will close automatically or the system can be run on one hundred percent (100%)
re-circulated air.
